They may just ask that you do so in a timely manner. If there is any issue, I plan to be nearby to claim kids outside of the lot if necessary. Other options are that there may be metered parking across the street or they may allow you to just park in the exit lane by the attendant booth. We meet at Memorial Park (parking lot is accessible off of 14th Street just north of Olympic Blvd.) at 9am and then will go off on an adventure to a local trail, park or beach. Some of our favorite places during summer include but are not limited to Will Rogers State Park and Beach, North Beach Playground, Topanga Beach, Malibu Lagoon, El Matador and Santa Ynez Canyon. We do not choose our locations until closer to the date and sometimes I let the children be involved in the process. Enter through Lot 5 South. If parking lot attendant is in the booth you can just let them know you are picking up or dropping off for a play date and they will let you through. Head left (south) all the way down to the far end of the lot. Normally we start our day out on the beach during the summer months but it is possible we start at South Beach Park Playground (aka Boat Park) at times.
